Meet Your Regional Board

The PAECT Southeast Region has its own board that coordinates regional meetings, events, and opportunities for members. To contact any of these board members, click their names.

Regional Director: Rachel Irvin

Rachel has been a Technology Teacher and Integration Coach in the Souderton Area School District for past 10 years. She is a 2017 Keystone Technology Innovator STAR. She is always looking for ways to integrate technology in relevant and exciting ways that ignites student ownership of learning and challenges their thinking. Rachel is passionate about educators having autonomy in their own learning and leading student learning. Asst. Regional Director: Pam Craig

Pam is a 5th grade science and language arts teacher in Methacton School District. She recently added a letter of STEM endorsement to her teaching certificate through Wilkes University and Discovery Education and was honored in 2014 as a Keystone Technology Innovator STAR. Pam is also a Google Certified Educator, Nearpod Certified Educator, and Discovery Education DEN Star. She loves cats, the color pink, and cheesy romance novels. Member Liaison: Robin Burns

Robin is originally from New Jersey and attended Rutgers University were she met her husband Brian. Robin has been employed by the Salisbury Township School District since 2012 where she is a library media teacher at Salisbury High School. She enjoys spending time with her family in Florida (especially during the winter months), vacationing at Disney World, and relaxing summer days down the shore with a good book.

Historian: Sheila Fredericks

Sheila has been involved in Instructional Technology for over 15 years in Public, Parochial, and Private schools in three different states. She currently teaches STEAM and video editing, along with other technology duties at The Concept School in Westtown. Additionally, she teaches Saturday STEM and Summer STEM classes for CCIU. She is an advocate for Discovery Education and is a DEN Star Educator and Leadership Council member. In her spare time, she enjoys photography and belongs to the Chester County Camera Club. Social Media: Kelsey Suder

Kelsey is a 5th grade teacher in Souderton Area School District. She is a 2017 Keystone Technology Innovator STAR. She is always learning with her students and looking for ways to integrate technology that provides students with a richer understanding of the world they live in. Records Manager - Janice Conger

Janice is a teacher-librarian at Skyview Upper Elementary School in the Methacton School District. She is on the conference committee for PSLA. Webmaster - Gerald Aungst

Gerald teaches gifted support and runs the makerspace at Cheltenham Elementary School. A longtime advocate of the power of technology to empower students and foster curiosity, Gerald was the first in his previous school to embrace tools like blogging and wikis to allow students to collaborate across schools and to give parents a window into the classroom. Gerald is a fan of coffee and World of Warcraft. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Michele, 3 boys, and his dog Eddie. You can find Gerald on Twitter and Instagram as @geraldaungst.

Treasurer: Stephanie Smith Budhai

Stephanie is Director of Graduate Education and an Associate Professor at Neumann University. She has been involved with the southeast region of PAECT since 2014. Stephanie has presented on technology integration and online learning at several national conferences. Stephanie is the author of Teaching the 4Cs with Technology from ASCD and Best Practices in Engaging Online Learners through Active and Experiential Learning Activities from Routledge. She is a certified K-12 Instructional Technology Specialist and has a Ph.D. in Learning Technologies from Drexel University. Her Twitter handle is @drbudhai.
